01 — Our approachOne Health

Health plays out at the interface of water, life and people.

Human, animal and environmental health form a single whole. We focus on aquatic ecosystems and their link to the health of people and livestock, particularly schistosomiasis. It is the common thread of our research and our field interventions.

02 — Our area of operation

The lower Senegal River valley.

A region strongly affected by water-related diseases. This is where we carry out our research and interventions, in close contact with communities and local stakeholders — from our Saint-Louis station. We monitor habitats, populations and water uses through the seasons.
